unisonの再設定

再設定したマシンからunisonでhowmディレクトリの同期を取ろうとしたところ

$ unison ssh://ユーザ名@マシン名/パス ローカルパス

Fatal error: Warning: inconsistent state.
The archive file is missing on some hosts.
For safety, the remaining copies should be deleted.
  Archive ar4c5f76f51762fd7313a140eea32fdc45 on host サーバマシン名 should be DELETED
  Archive ar87818b on host ローカルマシン名 is MISSING
Please delete archive files as appropriate and try again.

と出て同期が取れない。エラーメッセージの意味が理解*1できなかったので、検索してみた。［http://hyamada.ddo.jp/hiki/hiki.cgi?unison:title=］を参考に、家サーバの.unison以下にあるar4c5f76f51762fd7313a140eea32fdc45削除した。すると、同期が取れるようになった。
unisonは環境ポータビリティがあって、しかも、賢く同期してくれるので本当に便利だ。

*1:落ち着いてエラーメッセージを読めば、明確に対処方法が書かれていますね。反省。
